Busy Monday, March 20 (Wednesday Edition)

Today's 'To-Do' List What happened to Monday? What happened to Tuesday?

So Monday got pretty messed up. I drove Brielle into school. I got my meal plan done. I took some time to watch my show (The 100) and things were going about like normal. I was a bit slower than normal though so before I could get the shopping done it was time for me to go to Lunch with Peter. We didn't get out of the parking lot before he got called back in. So I waited in the parking lot 45 minutes before he came back out and then on the way to lunch he got another call so after lunch I drove him to his next work site and then back to the homesite (hospital has offices spread across the city). It ate up a bunch of the day and then had to do the grocery shopping and take Brielle to the orthodontist. Class got canceled so I watched shows with my husband since I was out and about a lot this past week so he was feeling neglected.
Tuesday, I drove Brielle into school again she's got some late work she has to get done and her school laptop got stolen so she is having a hard time keeping up with the work (yeah found out about that Monday). It was a normal day of work but forgot that the girls had Anime Club that night so I double booked myself. After I got out of work I was putting away my prescription safety glasses and the arm snapped so I had to take them to eyemart to see if I could get just the arm which I couldn't and they wouldn't put the lenses into different frames since I had some frames at home. So when I did get home I stole the arm off my old frames and put them on my new ones and other than a color difference it's all fine. So got home made dinner and then Peter took the girls to club because Johanna was coming over for me to help her with sewing again. Which was a bit of a mess because I was having to guess things and I was tired. Thankfully a friend of the girls their mom contacted me and asked about driving the girls back so we didn't have to go back out to pick them up.
Menu
  • Spaghetti w/Meatballs
  • Chicken, Pasta & Salad
  • Pizza
  • Chicken Nuggets w/French Fries
  • -- Does I forgot count? I'm pretty sure I bought something I just can't remember what.

Last Week

I got some lovely cards from the gardening group I'm in. Peter was sick on my actual birthday. Johanna took me out for coffee though and then we went out for coffee Thursday too.

Thursday, Peter was feeling better so we went to Golden Corral for dinner thankfully for the lunch with the ladies from work (Tuesday) I asked for my gift card to there because it took that, my free meal for my birthday plus an extra $7 not including tip just to cover the 4 of us to go eat there. It won't be something we do as a family very often that is for sure. And then I went to class directly after which is how I ended up with Johanna because after class I knew Thursdays she would be shopping at Dollar General (she's a couponer from heck) so I met with her to discuss some ideas and then ended up sticking around and then we went to coffee. I didn't get home until about 11:30 Wednesday and Thursday.

I had my first job embroidering some onesies they had to be done for this past weekend for a baby shower

Friday was Pokemon night so I decided not to join in the card game (that and it had a huge entry fee last week) so I stuck around and talked to some friends and I bought a very adult card game called Joking Hazard and we played that.
After I got the kids home I went to bed. I went to bed early pretty much all weekend.

Saturday, Johanna and Courtney joined me out in Evansville and we had a lovely lunch at a greek restaurant and then went to the big Jo-Anns there. Jo-Anns was AWFUL! Every one was awful I even put in a complaint. Who knows how far it will go and part of me wishes there was some competition for how poorly we were treated but there won't be and I'm not going to demand it because the important part was noting just how bad the service was. We will never go back to the Evansville Jo-Ann Fabrics.
That night I went to a St. Patties day Party and talked and stayed up way too late.

Sunday... I truthfully can't remember Sunday too much I know I slept a lot and I know Peter and I went out and picked up flooring samples as we are trying to figure out how we are going to redo the kitchen and the living room but that is about all I remember.

Well that's a run down pretty much.
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their week.

Busy Monday, March 13

Today's 'To-Do' List
  • Is as done as it is going to be given it's 10:30pm. I drove Brielle into school. Made a bit of a meal plan and got groceries. Had to switch out some thread at Jo-Ann Fabric's because mine had a big black mark on it I didn't notice when I bought it. I had lunch with Peter and then we stopped by Starbucks for my Birthday drink (Not my birthday yet but they loaded it early) and then took him home. I worked on some embroidery stuff. I paid some bills (sadly paid medical with credit card and not HSA I was too scatterbrained today). Katherine made dinner of Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup. I went to Orchestra class and then I came home and watched a little TV with the hubby. He surprised me when I came home and had a bunch of laundry folded and vacuumed!
Menu

  • Birthday Dinner so we are going to the Golden Corral that opened in town. I have my free meal email from them and I told the ladies from work I wanted my gift card from there.

Last Week

So last week was pretty messed up. I won't go into it all but let us say a lot of teenage drama. Break ups. And mom don't know sh* apparently moments at least in my teenage girl's mind. On top of all that stress was the fact I came down with a weird illness. I pushed through it and went to work every day but I really felt horrible the whole time I was there and wasn't nearly productful enough which means this next week is going to be rough on me to catch back up on things.

I still haven't figured out what is going on with my phone backing up to the internet. Grr this blog look so plain with no pictures at all on it.

Weather has been freaky around here and we had snow today of all things. I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm just ready for Spring. I don't want summer no I just want a nice mild spring where I can have some time to get some stuff done outside or heck just a day where I don't feel that it is so nasty I don't want to go clean out my car because it could really use some cleaning.

Well I better get to bed it's 11 o'clock and it's a work night.

Busy Monday, March 6

Today's 'To-Do' List

  • (Additional update while writing this) Got a phone call to go have breakfast with friends.
  • Grocery Shopping
  • Lunch with Peter
  • Go down and buy flea/tick meds for the cat she's out and today's treatment day gotta keep up with that the ticks are already out can you believe that! We just got a notice from our local news station about it.
  • Plant some more seeds. I got some planted Friday but Johanna got off work early so since I was hanging out with her we did some embroidery stuff so I didn't get as much done as I needed but she helped me get some done at least.
  • Pay bills.
  • Update credit card info on stuff I got sent out a new card. Don't you just hate that they send you out a new card just because they changed the design and now you have to go back through everything and update all your information on your bill pays.
  • Try and find time to catch up a little on the house. The laundry monster is by far the worst!
Menu
  • Chicken, Pasta & veggies - Held over from last week was suppose to be Sunday's meal but with me helping Johanna sew the day got away from us so Peter just went down to Subway for a couple Meatball subs we split among the family. Ever do that? Decide it's just not worth the stress.

    • Peter's Card Game
  • Saturday

At some point Johanna said she may be back over to work on her project again this week I'm unsure of what day that will be.

I also plan to make it down to the gym a few days this week.

Last Week

So last week I didn't do a post. I was so busy doing so much running that by time I got home it was pretty much time to make dinner and I just didn't feel up to it at that point.
So let's touch on the week before last. As always I forget to put things down on the schedule one of those things was I took Brielle out to get her Driver's Permit.

We've been out driving in a parking lot twice since then. I do believe instead of gray my hair is going to go pure white.

(I need to find why my phone won't sync photos anymore with blogger this is a tad annoying it's easiest to post them to facebook and then download them to my pc to then upload them to here... yup too many steps but it's not going to hit today's 'to do' list.)

Last week was just a lot of work and stuff. I decided by time I got to Thursday that I was taking Friday off as a vacation day. I pretty much took Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off mentally as a vacation and god did I love it! I was happy all weekend. I went and saw friends. We had a Stitch N Bitch meeting I went to (though I was really sick Saturday so I didn't do much at SnB) and Saturday night I went to a friend's house and played board games. Sunday got a bit shot after I dropped some tools off and talked with a friend I met back up with Johanna she needed help with her sewing project and she's never really explored her sewing machine before or done any larger projects before so I spent the evening helping her learn and it got progressively faster as she got more comfortable which is good.

Oh so that week I didn't post about yeah we were in like the mid-70's breaking temperature records. This past Friday it Snowed! I'm not joking. This is NUTS.
